🏆Euchre Zone Rules & Conduct

  1. All members and staff must treat each other with respect. Harassment, cursing, fighting, and disruptive behavior are prohibited.

  2. The hosting Tournament Director (TD) has full authority over tournament decisions.

  3. Tournaments must start on time. Avoid last-minute registration.

  4. Players cannot compete in multiple tournaments or leagues simultaneously. Violation results in automatic disqualification.

  5. The TD will track all wins and losses.

  6. Pairings will be announced in the lobby. The first team listed sets up the table and chooses seats.

  7. A 3-minute timer starts when pairings are posted. Delays beyond this result in disqualification.

  8. Review game rules before registering. Ask the TD if you have questions.

  9. Slow play is discouraged. One warning may be issued; a second leads to disqualification.

  10. Table talk is prohibited. Revealing hand contents may result in a warning or disqualification.

  11. Personal chatting or voice communication during play is discouraged. Cheating via these means leads to disqualification or banning.

  12. Members from the same household may not partner or substitute for each other unless paired by Case.

  13. Foul language is strictly prohibited. Offensive comments are unacceptable.

  14. Abusive behavior will result in warnings and further action if it continues.

  15. No loners allowed on cards 8 or 9 unless specified. Attempting results in a boo.

  16. Negative comments during play or in chat are prohibited. Use private messaging to resolve issues.

  17. In 1x1 formats, each player is allowed one boo per round. A second boo results in disqualification. Boos carry over.

  18. In 2x2 formats, each team is allowed one boo per round. A second boo results in disqualification. Boos carry over.

  19. If a boo occurs, the player to the left may skip 1–2 times or play on (TD discretion). No skips without TD direction.

  20. Fixable boos are allowed but still count.

  21. No boos are allowed in finals. Any boo results in automatic disqualification.

  22. If a substitute makes a boo in finals, the boo rule applies.

  23. In 2x2 formats, if a partner is MIA, a 3-minute timer starts. Afterward, a substitute may be chosen. If the team advances, the substitute should continue.

  24. First team in pairings must make the table and has first choice of seats.
